What if the most exotic city break awaits you right here, at home, on Calea Victoriei? When our physical travel plans were cancelled we decided to recreate the most exotic destinations of the world and bring them together in Bucharest, reimagined by local artists.
One Night Gallery gathered artists and creative studios on the glo™ OFF COURSE BOULEVARD to challenge people to experience the end of 2020 in the OFF COURSE style: travels OFF & the most exotic city break of imagination ON. The street art gallery brought together a series of experiences from different worlds, reinterpreted by Romanian artists in the longest trip on Calea Victoriei.
9 masterpieces made by Alina Bohoru, Aural Eye, Ana Bănică, Les Ateliers Nomad, Ioana Trușcă, Noetic, Raluca Bararu, Rizi, Stella Caraman and Time Studio turned the iconic windows of the Capital centre into exciting galleries. From Rio to Madagascar, from Tokyo to Ibiza, from Bali to Chile, with views from the entire world, illustrations, video-mapping, art installations and artist imagination bringing together different vibes into the same rhythm.
This was a cultural movement meant to open the borders of imagination, supporting our local artists and the new media art scene in a fragile context where the need to adapt became a necessity.
